DEMONSTRATION TOMORROW, TUESDAY, 1st MAY. Looking forward to having a full house at the Coach House tomorrow for Kathy Karas’s demonstration on the varied uses of metallics. Come along and learn new techniques, be inspired and meet new friends. Stay after the demonstration and have afternoon tea all included in the entry price of – Members $10     Visitors    $15 OLD FIRE STATION EXHIBITION , THURSDAY 3rd MAY. This exhibition is a follow- up to the workshop held 2nd – 3rd November last year with renowned artist, Peter Griffen. The participating artists have taken what they learnt from the 2 days with Peter and produced works for this exhibition. Peter will be exhibiting 2 paintings himself and will open the exhibition on Friday evening. Come along for the opening at 6pm for wine and nibbles and view this interesting body of work. WORKSHOP 8th & 9th JULY:  Watercolour with Chan Dissanayake Title: Capturing Mood and Atmosphere in Watercolour Level:  Intermediate to Advanced Workshop Information This 2 day workshop will suit students who have been exposed to the medium of watercolour and want to extend their knowledge to the next level. We will specifically concentrate on how to inject and capture the mood of the subject. The truly magical qualities of watercolour can best be demonstrated in portraying atmospheric effects such as mist, rain and fog. We will paint a variety of subjects, producing two paintings a day...
