21/22 March.. Workshop with Marion Chapman

Subject: Watercolour Flowers- Loose and Free.

Venue: The Coachhouse, Farmer Street, Kiama, Times 9am – 4pm.

Cost: Members $160, Non members $180

 Outline of the course: Echinacea and Liquid Amber leaves

Summary: -Explore the beauty of echinacea flowers using wet in wet, negative painting techniques and masking fluid. We’ll create echinacea flower paintings from a photo source and leaf paintings from real leaves.

About Marion: Marion has won numerous prestigious prizes and awards, and her works are held in galleries and collections, throughout Australia and overseas, including the Tokyo Irodori collection. Marion has recently been selected to attend a residency at the Vermont Studio Centre, USA later this year. Read more in Marion’s bio (attached).

Monday – Watercolour.    Morning class is full but there are 2 places left in the afternoon Beginners Class.

Thursday morning – Acrylic Class has 2 places available.
