Two of our members have recently won awards in prestigious art exhibitions.
PATRICIA HOWELL received a Highly Commended Award in the John Copes Watercolour Prize.
OLIVIA ALEXANDER has had a busy few
months with last week being a finalist in the International Brisbane Art Prize. In May, she was awarded the Rome International Imperial Art Award and in June the Art Critics Award, both from Italy. She is currently preparing for her exhibition in Paris called “Oceans of Oz” on 1-8th Dec. It’s a collaborative exhibition with French artist, Ann Dunbar and the gallery is called Galerie Art et Miss, at 14 Rue St. Anastase, Paris which is just around the corner from Musee Picasso. Olivia will head over to Paris in November to begin preparations.
