Congratulations to Kathy Karas who has had her painting accepted to be part of the Australian watercolourists exhibiting in the prestigious URBINO IN ACQUERELLO FESTIVAL 2020 event in Italy.
She was invited to enter the Urbino In Acquerello Festival by the Australian co ordinator in Canberra. This is a festival of arts celebrated each year in the town where Raffael was born in Urbino, Italy. The criteria is strict with the subject matter to be either the town or inspired by the works of Raffael. These have to be on watercolour paper in landscape exact size 35 x 25cm . Her painting “Mother and Child” was accepted along with 6 other Australian artists. The exhibition is open to watercolourists worldwide with a co ordinator in each country.
