Vivien is an award-winning contemporary artist. Her evocative impressionistic works are highly sought after. Her works have been purchased by buyers from the US, many European countries and even China. She also has a strong following wi
thin Australia.
Vivien works in a range of media but her highly distinctive works vibrate with life and energy. Landscapes are her passion but her street scenes, abstracts and wildlife paintings are also highly collectible. Using bold line and colour set against sensitive washes, she creates work that captures the light and atmosphere that so fascinates her. It is the magical effect of light in the scene that inspires her. Whether it be the long shadows of dusk or the misty haze of dawn, these transient moments are captured. Her works retain a feeling of tranquillity, bringing a sense of peace to the viewer.
Born and raised in Scotland, she has now settled in Shoalhaven Heads and is a full-time artist.
