Drawing and Painting the Human Form:

DRAWING AND PAINTING THE HUMAN FORM 2020

This untutored group focuses on both the nude and clothed human form, giving the opportunity to work with any range of drawing or painting media (including oils) on figurative and occasional portrait studies. 

Male and female models are used within a flexible but structured program, including a range of ‘warm up’ and short to long poses – in some sessions a pose could last three hours.   The group is suitable for artists wishing to enhance their understanding of the human form and to experiment or develop drawing techniques.  Previous knowledge of painting and drawing is necessary for participants. 

The group operates over the year in line with the school  term.

VENUE:                       Kiama Scout Hall, Kiama Harbour, Blowhole Point, Kiama

TIME:                           Wednesdays 1:30 – 4:30pm (in line with the school  terms)

COST:                          Approx., $120 to $160 per term (dependent on group numbers)

MODELS REQUIRED

 “Drawing and Painting the Human Form” group is currently looking for male and female life models for both nude

and clothed ‘portrait’ modelling.  Models can be of any age from 18 and over.

 Previous experience is not necessary.

The group is held on Wednesdays from 1.30pm to 4.30pm

Payment to models is $115 per three-hour session
