At its last meeting, your committee decided to increase fees in two areas; entry to demonstrations and annual membership.
Because we are having to pay higher fees to our demonstrators, we lost money in that area, therefore entry to demonstrations from 1.1.16 will be $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
Annual membership fees have been increased to $35 for the period 1.4.16 to 31.3.17. Discussion occurred about doing away with family membership but it was decided to leave them at $15 for the spouse/partner ($50 total) living at the same address. School students (K-12), will be free until 31st March in the year after they leave school.
This small increase will help cover the general costs (approx $3,000 p/a, but not specifically funded) required to run KAS each year.
These costs will be detailed in the Annual Financial Statement which will be presented at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 2nd February, 2016 at 10.00am. See you there!
