All classes are in full swing with wonderful paintings being produced, new techniques being learnt and friendships being made.
DRAWING AND PAINTING THE HUMAN FORM GROUP:
This group moved to their new venue at the Kiama Scout Hall in February and things are going swimmingly. (Not literally even though it is by the water!). The Hall has sufficient space for the members to set up easels and their drawing or painting equipment and materials. The light in the hall is good and storage and other facilities are also very good. All in all we are settling in very nicely.
We have had a good range of male and female models this term, providing some great and focused drawing and painting by all members. Even though the group is almost full with members, there is some turnover in the group, and we are quite prepared to put potential members on a waiting list.
I would encourage anyone interested in joining to give me their details.

THURSDAY’S WATERCOLOUR and ACRYLIC CLASSES:
We are so lucky to have such a vibrant Art Society with so much going on. I love going to the Coach House each Thursday to teach my 2 classes. The afternoon acrylics class is ‘chockers’ at the moment, which is fantastic. I would really like some more students in my watercolour class in the morning.
