KEVIN GILLIS – PRINTING:
Make sure you have left tomorrow afternoon free to come to the Coach House and learn the reduction process in printing. Kevin uses wood blocks but the same process applies to lino cuts etc.
The demonstration will encompass setting out and carving the block for the reduction process, also how to work the block ink to achieve the best outcome. Finally he will demonstrate the last printing stage to bring the image to life.
Please be seated by 12.45pm and stay at the conclusion for afternoon tea.
