Kiama Art Society’s Annual Exhibition Opening Night held at the Kiama Leagues Club was attended by 145 artists and visitors. With prize money totalling almost $9,000, there were some very delighted artists.
The judges were Beth Monahan (Bungendore Fine Art Gallery) and artist/teacher Pat Padovan from Goulburn who complimented the artists on the high standard of entries.

Mayor Brian Petschler officially opened the night and presented the awards sponsored by council.
Mr Bruce Dunn represented the Leagues Club presenting the award to the overall winner, Salwa Woodroffe.
The People’s Choice Award was won by Ken Taber for ‘Man Overboard’.
The junior artists sections displayed 70 paintings by 37 children, our artist’s of the future. Over 400 paintings were exhibited.
